Stora Mosse National Park
Southern Sweden's largest mire area
Open every day, all year round
Store Mosse in the highlands of Småland is the largest Swedish marsh complex south of Lapland. It extends over an area of nearly 10,000 hectares, and forms a landscape that has retained its pristine character. It is also the site of Lake Kävsjön, one of the best-known bird habitats in Sweden
Naturum Store Mosse
Naturum Store Mosse is an information centre where you will find out more about the nature in Store Mosse National Park. It is also a source of inspiration and a meeting point for those curious on nature. Naturum presents the evolution of Store Mosse from the very beginning, that is, from the melting of the land ice approximately 15,000 years ago. Naturum is open to visitors in June, July and August.
